Where the Divine Becomes Visible
There is a way of seeing the world that changes everything.
For many, the word incarnation points to a single moment in history—a sacred expression of the divine in one person. And that matters. It always will. But what if incarnation is not only something that happened… but something that is happening?
What if the infinite is always expressing itself through the finite?
A Living Reflection
Each of us carries something that cannot be replicated.
There is something about God that can only be seen in you.
And something that can only be seen in the person in front of you.
This means that every encounter—every conversation, every passing glance, even every quiet moment in nature—is an opportunity to notice:
Where is the divine becoming visible right now?
Not in theory. Not in abstraction.
But here. In this moment.
A Constellation, Not a Competition
If each of us reflects something unique, then we are not meant to compare.
We are meant to belong.
Like stars in a constellation, each of us shines with a particular light. No star replaces another. No light competes. Together, they form something beautiful—something whole.
And what holds it all together?
Love.
When We Forget
Of course, we forget.
We judge.
We react.
We diminish.
And when we do, we obscure what is right in front of us.
But this is not a cause for shame—it is an invitation.
To recognize.
To release.
To return.
To come back to awareness.
To see again.
To remember that the person before us is not separate from the sacred—but a reflection of it.
The Pattern Made Visible
For Christians, Jesus shows us what this looks like fully lived.
Not as an exception that excludes us—but as a pattern that invites us.
A life where the divine shines clearly, freely, and fully.
A life where nothing blocks the light.
A Simple Practice
Today, pause—just for a moment—and ask:
- Where is the divine becoming visible right now?
- What is being revealed in this person?
- What is being revealed in me?
Even the smallest glimpse is enough.
You Are Part of This
You are not outside this mystery.
You are within it.
You are part of it.
You are an expression of it.
And that is enough.
