We believe in God,
whose presence exceeds every explanation
but is never beyond encounter.
We believe mystery is not the absence of knowledge,
but the inexhaustible depth of what may be known
through attention, relationship, and time.
We believe the kingdom of God is near—
hidden in seeds and weeds,
working quietly like yeast,
discovered like treasure,
and desired like a pearl of great value.
We believe God meets us in ordinary life:
in flowers and gardens,
in bread and shared work,
in conversation and play,
and beside those who suffer.
We believe no single interpretation
exhausts the meaning of scripture,
for its wisdom encounters us differently
as our lives and needs change.
We believe divine life grows without spectacle,
creates shelter in unexpected places,
and awakens a desire capable of reordering our lives.
We believe people are still ripening.
What is unfinished need not be condemned as worthless,
and what appears unwanted may yet become a dwelling place for life.
We therefore seek neither certainty nor dramatic signs,
but attentive hearts, open eyes, and listening lives,
trusting that God is already present
in the mystery before us.
