Simple Reminders

If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?

I would open a shop that sells inexpensive reminders of how precious each of us is, just as we are. I think I would need to do a fair amount of market research because what reminds me of being precious may do quite the opposite for you!

I thought of little mirrors to look upon each person’s preciousness but I know way-too-many folks who see their own image as less-than, as yet another opportunity to compare their form with someone else.

I also thought of various religious symbols but then I thought of how many folks have received a different message from their religions as if anyone could ever be less than precious!

Perhaps a shop that offers a simple smile to each person, a cup of tea or coffee, and an opportunity to pet or cuddle with a dog, cat, or maybe even a hedgehog. Receiving and giving unconditional love seems like a pretty awesome ware yet that ought to be a free gift and not a commodity. After all, you are infinitely precious and unconditionally loved for the gift you already are!

So what should I stock my imaginary shop? What would you have in the shop that reminds you and people you know that they are precious?
